Suede Midi Skirt

Tank (Hollister), Skirt (thrift piece), Boots (ASOS)

Hi all!

Today’s post features a thrift find – my suede midi skirt! I scored this skirt at a thrift store for $3.50 and was immediately thought of different ways to pair this versatile piece. In this outfit, I accented this skirt by pairing it with black neutrals – a black tank top and black booties. My alternative for shoes were my black vans for a more street look. As always, thanks for visiting! Have a great week!

Hi everyone!

This summer I visited Wonderspaces, an interactive pop up museum in San Diego. The exhibits were very aesthetically eye-catching, colorful, clever, and fun! Above are some of the exhibits, my favorite was the exhibit featured in the second photo, it was essentially a dark room with holes poking out where light streamed through. I thought it mimicked a starry night and enjoyed how the artist sought to replicate that natural phenomenon. Hope you enjoy the photos!

Warm Weather Wardrobe

Halter (Free People), Romper (ASOS), Choker (Forever 21),  Hat (gift – thanks Ashley!)

Hi everyone!

With summer coming to a close, I wanted to feature an actual summer outfit (haha). Fortunately, sunny San Diego permitted me to wear a romper, and I decided to accessorize with choker and hat! I also decided to add a pop of color with my halter top. I finished this outfit with black boots, however you can also switch it up by wearing sandals (which I should’ve, it was so hot!). Any way, have a fantastic week!

Elevated Casual

ASOS boots, watch, bag, H&M jeans, top (San Diego boutique), Betsey Johnson bracelet

Ah, it’s been a while since I uploaded an outfit post. When I’m not on blogging mode, I practically live in a loose plain tee and ripped jeans on a daily basis. Sometimes, however, I like to update my look by incorporating details that elevate my outfit. Cue in this fun off-the-shoulder top which includes lace detailing as well as a Tapa-inspired print. I added a pop of red (lips) for color and streamlined the look with classic black boots and a pleather tote bag. Thanks for visiting and hope you are all having a great week! -Amanda

Hi all,

I hope you all are having a lovely week! This week’s outfit features a juxtaposition between femininity and masculinity. I paired a floral off the shoulder top with my black distressed boyfriend jeans. To feature my off the shoulder top, I wore my chelsea boots and black floppy hat and a dark purple lip to add a more neutral look. This was a perfect day to head to San Diego’s Little Italy district to visit their farmers market, highly recommend you check it out 🙂 Thank you for visiting, have a great week!

Subtle Stripes

Tee-shirt dress (Macy’s), Sandals (Macy’s), Hat (Cotton-on), Cross-body (gift)

Hey everyone!

This week’s outfit features my black hat and striped tee dress, which I initially thought was a nightgown (it is definitely comfortable enough to sleep in though!). I paired these basics with my strappy sandals and threw on a cross-body to hold my valuables. Tee-shirt dresses are an essential for comfortableness and style (also for those who are too lazy to think of a top and bottom to wear – aka me). On another note, this week’s photos are courtesy of my good friend Liz, who spotted this background in the middle of a busy farmer’s market in Little Italy, San Diego. Would love if ya’ll have any other farmer’s market recommendations around that area. Have a fantastic week!

Festival Outfit

Dress (Target), boots (Amazon), lippie (Colourpop)

Hey ya’ll!

Long time no post! This week I wanted to feature my patterned dress, a deal from Target I couldn’t pass up…especially with the lacing on the top. I accompanied my dress with boots, and topped off my look with a dark lippie. This dress is perfect for the warm summer weather in sunny San Diego. Thank you all for visiting, have a fantastic day!

Salk Institute

Hey everyone!

For this week’s post, I wanted to add a couple photos detailing the spectacular architecture and view of the Salk Institute in La Jolla. The Salk Institute is a research facility and also (unintentionally?) doubles as a scenic place to take photos! The Institute overlooks La Jolla shores, and is stunning especially during sunset. Fingers crossed, I aim to come here again to capture a sunset photo; stay tuned!

Thanks for visiting!
